EVENTS & EVENINGS AT KALPINOTA BRISBANE
Our events are a small, considered part of what we do — a way to enjoy Kalpinota a little differently across the week. You’ll find tasting dinners and shared-plates nights, cocktail evenings, live music and the occasional relaxed social night. Every event sits around the restaurant experience; the kitchen always leads.
Below are our six upcoming events. Some are free evenings where you simply order from the menu; others are ticketed. There’s a good mix, so there’s usually something to suit.
UPCOMING EVENTS
ASIAN-FUSION TASTING DINNER
Date: Friday, 16 October 2026
Start: 7:00 pm
Format: Multi-course tasting dinner
Included: 4–5 small courses, shared starters, a main tasting plate and dessert; an optional drinks pairing is available
Price: A$85 per guest (optional drinks pairing +A$35)
A guided evening through some of our favourite flavours, served as a seated tasting menu.

DUMPLINGS & SHARED PLATES NIGHT
Date: Thursday, 29 October 2026
Start: 6:30 pm
Format: Casual social dining, à la carte
Included: A welcome pot of tea for the table; order and pay as you go from the evening’s menu
Price: Free entry — order from the menu
A relaxed, sociable evening centred on dumplings, bao-style bites and vegetable plates, ordered straight from a curated list.
Registration: Recommended for tables of four or more

COCKTAIL & SMALL PLATES EVENING
Date: Friday, 13 November 2026
Start: 7:30 pm
Format: Cocktails and small plates
Included: A welcome cocktail (or a non-alcoholic alternative) and three small plates
Price: A$55 per guest
A drinks-led evening pairing our house cocktails with a run of matched small plates.

LIVE LOUNGE ACOUSTIC DINNER

Start: 7:00 pm
Format: Dinner with live music
Included: Live acoustic music and à la carte dining
Price: Free entry with a dinner booking
Dinner with a soft live acoustic set — an easy, warm evening with full table service.
Registration: Required — reserve a table
Capacity: Standard restaurant seating
SOCIAL POKER EVENING 
Date: Wednesday, 25 November 2026
Start: 6:30 pm
Format: Casual social card evening
Included: Reserved seating, a welcome drink and a shared plate to start
Price: A$25 event participation fee, covering reserved seating, your welcome drink, a sharing plate and event organisation
A relaxed, entertainment-only social card evening — one small, occasional part of our wider events programme. It’s friendly, low-key and all about good company over a few plates and drinks.

Capacity: Limited seats
Please note: this is a purely social, entertainment-focused evening. There are no prizes, and the participation fee is exactly that — a fee towards hospitality and organising the night. Kalpinota is a restaurant, not a gaming venue.
CHEF’S SEASONAL TABLE

Format: Seasonal set-menu dinner
Included: A multi-course seasonal menu
Price: A$95 per guest
A seasonal set menu built around the best produce available that week.
